About Donovan Economics

Colleen Donovan, PhD, is an economist with more than 15 years of experience helping companies analyze their data and present their most compelling economic narratives. After several years in economic consulting conducting and drafting expert analysis for litigation and regulatory matters, she went on to lead a team of scientists at a large tech company as a Director of Economics. She has worked across a range of industries from retail and technology to banking and finance. 

As the founder of Donovan Economics LLC, Colleen collaborates closely with clients and offers full service and end-to-end economic consulting services, from research design and implementation to final presentation and stakeholder engagement.

Donovan has expertise in economics, antitrust and regulation, retail and ecommerce, competition analysis, data visualization, policy analysis, non-profits, and large-scale quantitative analytics. She holds a PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley and a BA in Economics (summa cum laude) from the University of Florida.
